Proxmox Backup Server (PBS) on ancient SIEM applicance
Intro For quite a while I’ve relied on an USB drive to perform my Proxmox backup. It was a 3.5 HDD, so it required external power. To save cost I used a Shelly Plug S to power-up and down the HDD. This solution had a couple of drawbacks:
